Ruby had busied herself looking after Sam. Making sure he kept himself rested, getting him water or whatever he wanted, getting him bandages for the wound. But looking like his brother meant that was pretty much as close as either of them wanted to be right now and that was just its own level of weird. Whatever had done this to him had picked its targets well. It seemed to have found the most unpleasent possibilities. If Sam had been in her, or she in him it wouldn't have been so bad. Weird and all, but they could have dealt with it a lot better than what they'd gotten stuck with. And she wouldn't have been trapped in the body of a man she'd spent most of the last few years despising for everything he'd done.
"We should try to figure out who caused this. I mean something of this size, the amount of people affected, this isn't just some whore looking for attention from whatever demon they're bound to, this is big"
The voice she knew so well coming in from the door gave her pause and she looked up quickly. Sam's voice. Sam's body. But of course it was Buffy in there. It was weird, and awful and much as seeing the body of the coma girl walk in not inhabited by her wasn't the weirdest thing she'd seen. It was plenty weird. She was going to bathe for hours when she got herself back. Hours. Though of course she expected Dean was thinking the exact same thing. Neither of them would have wanted this even for a second. So down to business it was. It was easier that way. Keep things on some kind of level before they all went mad.
"Did you bring the stuff?" she asked, nodding over to Sam still lying on the bed resting the wound. There the tone, though Dean's voice was 100% pure Ruby. He'd better be taking care of that body. She liked it. It had done pretty well for her over the year and a bit she'd had it.
