Impulsively, Martha reached out and put her hand on Logan's, trying to offer some sort of comfort maybe? She wasn't sure. But she knew she didn't like hearing that kind of story and just doing nothing. "Then we need to find a way to protect people from going through something like that. An exorcism isn't enough, we need to stop it happening in the first place." She looked up at Logan, dark eyes filled with compassion. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."
She laughed at the wannabe comment. "Well as long as he doesn't get me or himself killed before he stands down, it sounds like a plan to me. It kind of worries me, the idea of people going up against these demons who can't really handle it."
Xavier. That had been another name in Leo's comics. Martha was more and more sure by now, but still resisted saying anything. "Sounds like a good group of people. There must be other mutants not so willing to protect the world," she smirked wryly, knowing well the hysteria that some people could go through. And what others were capable of doing to exploit that.
