"But what was it like?" The curiosity was clear in Martha's voice. "Not the getting hit by a truck part, that I can guess. The being possessed. I mean, what was it like to deal with?" She realized a moment too late that she possibly sounded like a crazy person and she laughed self consciously. "There's a high chance I might end up with someone possessed as a patient, I'd like to have some idea what I'm dealing with." Both physically and mentally. Working in the military had given Martha one hell of a crash course in how to deal with PTSD and shock among soldiers.
"Well, I'm hoping for superhero rather than wannabe, or I'm going to end up getting my arse kicked," she stated, with a swig of beer. "I'm good at the running away part of fighting, and I don't think Romana's the fighting type either." That reminded her, she needed to pick up one of those amulet things from Sam at some point. It was hardly a fool proof idea, but it would have to do.
"An X-Man?" Martha looked confused for a moment. She'd grown up with a younger brother and Leo had been a comics fan. But surely that wasn't... well even if it was, Martha was not going to be the one to break it to Logan. "So, you have superhero powers?" She grinned playfully. "Those would be that healing thing?"
