To Tim it felt like he'd been punched in the stomach and he couldn't breathe. The world was spinning in a downward spiral and he had no control. Steph and Cass. Steph wasn't dead. Was never dead. He loved her, she lied about death. Where did that leave him? Was he supposed to just accept that she did what she had to and move on? He didn't know if he could do that. Even if he wanted to. He felt betrayed and angry, a whirlwind of emotion that he hid behind a stone face of set emotionlessness. His blue eyes focused on the computer screen of his red laptop, but not really seeing anymore. Not really wanting to talk to anyone anymore. Just wanting to push it all away and stop hurting.
His hand tensed at the touch, but he didn't jerk away. That was an improvement..he wanted to. He wanted to push her away with the rest of the world and was still undecided on the matter if he would or not when she sat and he felt the cousins shift.
He didn't know what to say, except to slide the laptop away with a free hand and close his eyes tiredly. "All this time, I thought she was dead." He finally broke the silence, but his voice was cold and sharp. He was angry and he had all rights to be, weather Steph "had" to disappear or not.
