He didn't know Buffy all that well but right now, he was willing to start sporting a "Team Buffy" t-shirt. "You just called her fake and real in the same sentence," Adam pointed out. "So maybe she didn't start out life as a real girl but she is now. Got a life and a family and everything. So I really doubt anyone is going to turn her over to you." At least anyone with a speck of moral decency.
Later, he was going to berate himself for not running. Later when he was still sane. When he wasn't about to be attacked by a hell goddess...ow. With a nasty punch to her. Adam's head snapped sideways. "Screw you," he muttered. He rolled back just in time to see her coming again. Adam threw up his arm in a last ditch effort to block her, but if she hit like that, he was in trouble.
