He knew that if it had been Savannah, he would have laid down his own life to make sure this woman didn't get her hands on her. "You know, that's debatable. She really wasn't convincing him. He did not want her for a god or have to get used to another dimension that was probably a lot worse than this one. Half-demon or not, he didn't want to make nice with the real thing. They probably had a lousy outlook on his kind anyway. "Wrong."
Her sudden movement took him off guard. Just as he felt her hands make contact with his head, he threw his hands up, hands hot enough to cause a painful burn, making the last ditch effort to get away.
