His good night had taken a mildly depressing turn. What kind of rental company didn't include a spare tire? It wasn't even like he could call up the company and complain since the vehicle had jumped dimensions with him. Actually, he couldn't complain because at least he had a vehicle here and he didn't have to pay by the day to keep it. So he was back to mildly depressing that he had to walk home. At least he had a built in defense mechanism that the demons wouldn't see coming. Or more accurately, guessed they wouldn't see coming.
Adam had his phone out, using the mobile web to check up on things quick, when he heard the voices. He hit END and headed for the source, finding two women, one with a tight hold on the other. "Whoa, hey!" he called as he jogged over. The blond, she looked like she had seen better days while the other woman just looked like she wanted to run and hide in the nearest corner. He tried to get between the two women, holding up his hands.
"Hey, hey, no need to get grabby. How about we just get some space in here, all right? Let's calm down."
