When Stephanie heard that last word her attention was definitely caught. And, well, she guessed it was an alright sign if people actually recognized her, though it really wasn't that hard. There was only ever one Batgirl at a time, so even though the costumes were extremely different from each other, it wasn't hard to figure out who wore what. Plus, she obviously wasn't Batwoman because that one had red all over her costume. It was weird. No Bats had red before.
Then again, purple wasn't exactly standard-issue either, so Stephanie really wasn't one to talk when it came to things like that.
She turned to look over at whoever it was than had spoken, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it was probably the guy that was staring at her. "Yep, that's me," she said, wiping the shocked look on her face as quickly as possible. But next she had to figure out a reason for a Bat to be riding around during the day. "Uh. You haven't seen any crazy people on this street, have you? Just, you know. Doing patrol." Yeah. That was sure to sound convincing.
