Andrea'd continued to stare at the sign, perhaps in hopes that it really was a dream and that Eduardo Verástegui would show up in a tux with roses and .. well, that wasn't for now. Or was it? No. It definitely wasn't. Since the sign was still there and her mood wasn't getting any better.
Andrea heard someone approaching, but she didn't look. That was how much this entire situation had her focus and her attention. Typically she was much more aware of things, not liking being taken by surprise. Not even for the thrill of things. When the woman had questioned about the town she had ignored her, however when she continued on about Smallville, Andrea turned to look at her. And despite herself, the tiniest quirk twitched against her mouth. She'd thought practically the same thing.
"Thanks." She replied. "Nice boots." She said sincerely. They were nice boots, and just because she'd been pulled by some strange ... thing to Lawrence, Kansas did not been that was an excuse to ignore good shoes. And they were really good. They were in red too. A bit too flashy for her tastes, but the color and the style added to its pluses.
"Neither do I." Andrea said, turning back to squint at the sign for a quick second, before returning her attention to the woman, she looked her over, more carefully this time, attention going elsewhere than her boots. She was a bit shorter than Andrea, would be minus both their boots. She was wearing an insane, really insane, amount of red and blue. Well, insane amount given how short her outfit was. Red and Blue ... Smallville. Something ticked in Andrea's mind. Coincidence? Riiight. Because coincidences happened THAT often when she was from. Not to mention she tended to be overly paranoid. And the fact that this girl was wearing red and blue and was from Smallville, just like a certain nineteen year old male she hadn't seen too long ago. Seemed a bit too much to be a coincidence to her.
"You're from Smallville? I'm from Metropolis."
Enthralling conversation starter. Wasn't she? Maybe. But in truth all she wanted was some answers.
