Who: Shay & open Where: Shay’s grid out back of the complex When: Late afternoon What: Construction! Warnings: Should be none
Shay was furious, it was bad enough that she had to rely on these people as much as they did, but now they had the idea that not only could they teach her anything, but that she had to learn it. As if they had anything worth learning, these were the people who were going to destroy the world, they were Rusties and she had to remember that, she had to keep that in the front of her mind now that she didn’t have the Cutters to help her stay focused, to keep her icy. It was something she had to do on her own.
She’d almost completely dismantled the grid as she had it, leaving just the chain link base, having moved all the scrap metal, old washing machines mostly, off to one side so that she could reconfigure the whole thing, mostly she was thinking she should just roll the whole works up and leave, it wasn’t like she had any connection to this place, she could survive out in the city on her own, maybe even find some train tracks to follow, head out to the real wilds where she was meant to survive, watch from afar as the crash happened. This thought made her smile grimly as she started putting the grid back together, framing the chain link with the washing machine hulks.
