Who: Clary, Jace and Uriel
What: Half-angel vs. angel
When: Night time, around ten pm
Where: An old warehouse
Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete

It hadn't been fun, but in the end there wasn't much Jace could do to keep her from going with him. Besides, she had power, power that he was going to need in order for him to win. Clary didn't like the idea of him going up against an Angel. She almost felt nauseous. But that wasn't going to help, because it had to be done. She'd loaded Jace up with runes, anything and everything she could think of that would help.

Now she didn't suspect that she was going to be involved in the fight, however she had armed herself as well. The black leather of the Shadowhunters outfit she had got from Lukes sister, her two angel blades, a variety of runes dark against her arms. It was still nothing compared to the marks that were on Jace.

She'd set them up in a warehouse. A contained fight that would be hard to come across. For almost an hour she'd been laying out the playing field, drawing the very large circle on the floor of the warehouse that would allow her to trap the Angel inside. He couldn't leave, teleport, couldn't get his hands on her, but Jace would be in there with him. He'd be let out once the Angel was dead, of course. But in case things did go wrong, she wasn't opening the circle for Uriel to get out.

Running her fingers through her hair- the red very pronounced against the black of her outfit, Clary looked around at her work. "That should do it." she said looking up at Jace. "I just need to write his name into the circle to summon him." She was twitchy and nervous, that was obvious. She felt sick, if it was possible, she was more pale that before. Clary was terrified for him. "You ready?" she asked, voice shaky.

As Clary had been drawing the containment ring, he had been training his moves just a little bit more. His full shadowhunter gear and all the seraph blades he had on him for the fight, he almost didn't hear her at first when she asked him if he was ready. He looked over at her, noticing her nerves and crossed to her, a confident smile on his face.

He put his arms around her and gave her a light kiss before he spoke. "Don't worry. I'll be fine, just don't let him out, okay?" He didn't want her to worry about him, and he would do everything he could to make sure he won that fight, so he didn't have to leave her.
