They weren't even having sex yet and Sam was already pleased. Something as simple as finally being able to be with her was more than enough to make things better for him by far. Rather than spending his time trying to avoid the sexual frustration that had inevitably built between them over time while attempting to train people at Bobby's, he was doing what he wanted. Which, admittedly, was rather surprising. Sam expected to grit his teeth and get on with the training. The fact that he had been able to just give in and let go was a different stroke for him, one that he found he wished he was able to do more often. Speak his mind, do what he wanted. If only he could actually get away with it. Consequences sucked. And even for tonight, he knew there would be some. Probably suspicious looks and annoyed mutterings from Dean when they got back. It'd be worth it though. Especially if things went the way that Sam imagined that they were going to soon enough.
"I love you, too," Sam told Ruby. That was one hundred percent true. Another surprising thing: the fact that even with the knowledge on what she was and what she had been out to do, he could still love her. But there was something there. Something strong, something wonderful. And Sam couldn't let go of that. He refused to. Fingers tangling into her hair, Sam contently took on the kisses that Ruby sent back at him. They were a little more forceful this time; she was upping the pace a bit and Sam didn't mind at all. He was eager. Excited. Sam bit down onto her bottom lip - slightly aggressive, but not enough to break skin - delivered a firm kiss, then pulled back. Hand finding the chains at his side once more, Sam offered Ruby his arm and began to climb onto his feet. "Let me see your wrists," he began, raising the chains a little to show her what he intended on doing when she did.
