"Well that's certainly something to hope for," She crossed her fingers, holding her hand up. Martha truly did not want to have to see a vampire. Especially not Drusilla. In Martha's mind she was a child murderer. And there was a special circle of hell for them... demon, vampire, or human.
She pulled open the door, holding it open as they walked through, not able to help the smile that crossed her face. "You can curse in front of me Eliot," she almost laughted. "I spent two years surrounded by soldiers. And if you think Sailors swear, you've never heard how these blokes did." she smirked. "Mostly around the table during cards," she added. "They could play poker with the best of them. Taught me everything I knew." She held on to the bannister as she went down the stairs. She was sure on her feet, but it was out of habit, after falling down a flight in childhood.
