The thought that she might not be ready to go head to head with Drusilla only passed through Kendra's thoughts to serve as an irritant rather than a hindrance. She would certainly like to come out alive after this encounter, if they found her; however, what Kendra wanted more than that was for Drusilla not to. If she died, she died. It was now as it was before, being in another world didn't change that. Trying to "fit in" had yet to-though she was starting to wonder if it ever would. How long she lived didn't really matter so long as while she lived, she did her duty and she did it well. Doing it well meant that Drusilla didn't get to live another moment to massacre innocent people.
The thought that she wouldn't have to go head to head to her this time, that she wouldn't be alone this time didn't fully hit her until her hand hit her apartment door. It was an entirely new concept and one she pushed to the side because there were other things to concentrate on. Like, for how, how she'd finally get to use the new stakes she'd made since arriving here. Particularly the one that was a replica of Mr. Pointy; better, yet not.
She quietly arrived at the tail-end of what a red-headed female was saying. She didn't know who she was but had seen her commenting to Buffy's message. Which led her to conclude that this was Vi, the new arrival and one of the slayers awoken because of Willow's spell. A concept that was interesting, annoying, and so many other things all into one. The fact that she'd never would have gotten to know about the other female let alone meet her if not for this strange place. Just topped it all off. And to think that she'd thought her experiances in Sunnydale had been wiggy.
