Xander wasn't kidding when he said that he wanted in on the action. It was one thing having Glory drop into the place out of nowhere. She was strong. Powerful. Kinda crazy and even more so impossible to take on. It was kinda different with Drusilla. At least with her, Xander knew what to do when it came down to defending himself. Sure, she'd probably be able to deliver him a good old fashioned ass kicking anyway, but at least he knew that a splash of holy water to her face would be an effective move. That and the fact that the idea of her having killed all those innocent kids infuriated him beyond reason had Xander storming out of his apartment with a crossbow in one hand, a cross in the other, and a bottle of holy water tucked away in his pocket that he was more than ready to use on the first pale faced, fang ridden monster he crossed paths with. It was a lucky thing he had that crossbow on his person too - after all, it had only taken him ages to get his hands on one after he'd arrived. Now that he actually had one, it was like the perfect time to use it had come storming in. Kinda ironic, really.
Meeting the gang at the front entrance, Xander eagerly followed them out for the search. Or hunt. They called it a hunt around here, didn't they? Hunting. Weird. Crossbow swinging loosely at his side, Xander glanced over at the others quietly before he focused on Buffy and moved around to her side. He felt the most comfortable there. "First Glory, then Drusilla - is there someone out there sending a special invite out to all the evil skanks we've fought in the past or what? I'm thinking it must be some kinda flyer. Have you been evil? Do you want to kill people? Are you very, very annoying? Great! Come on down to Lawrence, Kansas - alternate universe style - and cause some mayhem. Don't worry, we promise it'll be a pre-apocalyptic blast!" He rolled his eyes, then looked ahead, squinting slightly to see into the dark. "If I didn't hate this place before, I'm putting my fist down and declaring double the dislike right now."
