She'd just about had her fill of having to deal with civilians, enough was enough. People who didn't understand the supernatural and, even when she warned them, pretty much ignored her. She was a Slayer, not a babysitter. She ran an army, not a complex full of people who wouldn't take orders. Buffy was on the edge of creating a military team, and then passing the 'leader' roll off onto someone more capable of handling the crap she just wanted to punch in the face.
Punching in the face would be a good idea. Between Dru and Glory, the city was in serious trouble. She still had no idea how she was going to deal with Glory, but Dru was just a matter of being able to find her. She'd run, of course, they'd have to track her down, and given the size of the city, that could take awhile. But they had to do something.
After grabbing her favorite stake, some knives, and holy water, she checked to make sure her cross was around her neck and headed down the stairs. She'd met the other three by the door, and they'd set out. It would be easier to break up, but she wasn't entirely sure it was the best idea. They'd cover more ground, but with the threat of hypnosis, they needed to be able to watch each others backs.
So they'd just have to move quickly. A scowl set on the blonde slayers face, she was really hoping they found at least some kind of threat.
