Tara, herself, was out looking for a job. Back home she had school to worry about and Dawn to help look after. Here she didn't have school and while she would always help look after Dawn, she wanted something else for herself to do. To feel more productive. There were much more things to worry about in Lawrence than there had been in Sunnydale. She felt that money shouldn't be one of those things. She would pitch in with what she could. Taking out the want add, Tara had circled what she thought she would be best suited at and had gone out in hopes of joining the workforce!
Still in the afternoon, and having been out since morning, she hadn't had much luck. Yet she refused to give up. She would go out to tomorrow again. And the day after. And the day after. Neither dour management nor threat of Glory was going to keep her away. Tara was terrified of Glory and running into her. But maybe she was much more of a Scooby than she'd given herself credit for. Practicality and common sense went out the door in hopes of helping out her friends.
Brows lowered slightly, over eyes concentrating on the newspaper in her hands, Tara most obviously wasn't watching where you're going. "I-I'm sorry!" She said quickly. After all, it had been just as much-if not all-of her fault. "I wasn't - watching where I was going." She said, looking up and shooting the man a sheepish smile.
