She wasn't much for research, but the past little while Buffy had spent buried over any text Andrew had collected trying to find hints of some kind of weapon she could use against Glory. She'd lost track of time, and when she remembered to look up, she'd realized she needed to move, of she was going to be late. Buffy was meeting Ben. With any luck, this would be a much more normal and less weird conversation than the one she had with Ruby just the before. The whole thing still made Buffy's head hurt slightly. Weird didn't really describe it.
Ben was a nice guy. She'd talked to, maybe flirted with him a bit at the hospital. He'd given her hope about her mom, which might have really worked if she hadn't died shortly after the surgery from complications. But that was something else. As far she could remember, she had no reason to not go meet him. It was a little weird that he of all people was showing up here, but apparently whatever was pulling them here wanted nurses as well.
She'd arrived at the cafe just a minute or two after she said she'd be there, hurrying into the establishment. The blonde slayer looked around, eyes searching until she found Ben, and a slight smile came to her face. Walking over to him, she tucked her hands into her pockets. "Hey, Ben." she said while approaching. "How are you?"
