Shay was also staying out of the arguments, but in her case it was more that she simply didn't care, that and she was, at least inwardly, arrogant enough to think that she didn't need the training they were offering. Why would she want to learn anything from a bunch of potentially homicidal Rusties anyway? She was positive that whatever came up she could handle it, or at least keep other people between it and her to give herself a chance to escape. These weren't her people after all, she wasn't going to be terribly upset if one of them got eaten by something.
She hadn't yet been to the gym herself, with her augmented muscle structure it didn't take a lot to keep her in shape, that and she didn't like being indoors for too long at a stretch, but there wasn't a wilderness here to keep herself sharp in, so she had to make do. Not wanting to distract him she just nodded a greeting, padding off to the other side of the room to give the punching bag her all. She'd had a rough week, and it was possible that the punching bag wouldn't survive it.
