Ruby didn't think there was anyone she'd rather fight for, anyone she'd rather get through every day of this confusing dealing with humanity for. Sam made her a better person, it was that simple, He saw something in her besides the lies and she was better for it. And he was still with her. Might take time but Sam was still with her and he still loved her, she shruged lightly and answered him, "Yeah it has to be hard, things I did, I'd be suprised if it wasn't. But you're stubborn, like you said. We'll make it work"
Worth fighting for?. Ruby smiled and was about to move a little closer toward him, at least until he spoke about leaving. Of course he couldn't stay long, they'd keep talking. Keep Flirting, then who knew where they'd end up. Because here he was telling her he loved her and that she was worth the fighting for. Worth getting past the tension. And she hated the tension.
"You probably should. Couch is looking tempting right?"
She took another step closer, not flirtatious really, just holding out her hand a little for him to either ignore, touch or pull into a hug again. And Ruby knew what she was hoping he did. "We can make something different than we had. Stronger, no lies, no tricks. Just you and me?. You'd like that right?"
