"The others are." She didn't feel like arguing. The others she meant were the other people she had killed. "It's all my fault." She knew that Kakistos had left a trail of bodies behind her when he'd chased her across the country. Those were her fault too, and she'd never once faced that. It was too late for her.
"I killed them." She whispered it faintly, then slowly turned so she was facing him. She didn't look at him, but instead curled up against his leg, squeezing her eyes shut. "It's all my fault, Pike..." She doubted he could stand to be around her. He should go. "Why won't you just leave me alone?"
