She'd never been on a motorcycle before today. It had been quite a thrill, hair flying around everywhere - despite her ponytail - and a pretty extensive tour of the town. Danny - who she had to admit was actually pretty cute (it had been her first reaction upon meeting him) - was good at this. And despite what he'd said about only being there for a couple of months, Cissie got the feeling that he knew the area better than he'd admit even to himself.
He'd taken her to a deli for lunch and before walking in she hadn't even realized how hungry she was until they'd sat down. She hadn't even had breakfast that morning, and instead had gone out for a run. "Well if you give it your stamp of approval, I'm not going to question it." She'd been asking a lot of questions during the tour so right now was just a point to relax. Maybe share some stories. Since she'd arrived this was the first time she'd actually seen the town and she was glad to not be alone.
All day, she'd been craving something with meat in it... and maybe Russian dressing on it. It was a treat for her to do something like this. In the few days she'd spent here she hadn't been training, her diet was shot, which wasn't a bad thing. But when he hadn't given her a reccomendation she'd ordered a corned beef with Russian. "First time I've eaten something like this in a while," she admitted sheepishly. "Before arriving here, I was in training for Worlds," she said taking a sip of her water. How long had it been since she'd just done this? Gone out with someone and talked? Yes hanging out with Cassie and Anita counted, but that was different slightly.
