Andrea Rojas loves shopping and breaking faces in. ([info]avengingwarrior) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
"Logic and me. We aren't exactly the best of friends." Especially when she was being stubborn about something. It wasn't that she was exactly illogical or even closed-minded. It was more in the case that if she thought she was right, if something made sense to her and was working just fine, it took a while for her to except that there was an idea that was ... more right. Just because it was "logical" didn't mean shit. Andrea attempted to be reasonable and fair, but not necessarily always logical.

As she said this, she began unconsciously rearranging some of the things to her right. She was tense, if that wasn't a bit obvious. This wasn't a subject that she liked talking about. At all. Because it broached too close to talking about That. Night. The only person she had ever explained it all to was Clark. And that ... was another night. Distracting herself with cleaning, helped her from snapping at him to mind his own business. Because the moment, despite her disliking the direction in which the discussion was going, was a nice one. It was strangely just a bit more than irritatingly civil. It was interesting. And she was far too curious for her own good. She wanted to see how long they could keep this going. As much fun as sniping at him could truly be. This was .. interesting. Plus, though she would never say it, she was liking hearing about his past. It might be hypocritical of her, given how closely she tended to keep things to her chest, but Andrea enjoyed finding out about people's reasonings and motives. The past, how their minds worked. And as much as he annoyed her, Spike was a fascinating individual in and of himself. Which was what made this all that much nicer. Because he spent so much time bothering her, and attempting to put her on the defensive, there hadn't been much time pick his own brain other than what she got from Andrew a few times. Or whatever she managed to glean from him in their hostile conversations.

Her own expression of curiousity and interest was plain to see on her face; however, she shuttered that away, slightly when he insisted on asking why she didn't like weapons. There it was on the tip of her tongue to snap at him to just leave it be. However, since he never seemed to do so whenever she asked him before, she doubted he would do it now. And chances were he'd be more irritating about it. He was being ... not nice about it. But not a culero about it and that was .. appreciated.
