So basically he'd done something to save the world, and it had been something that Ruby was close to. Sort of like how she blew up the mayor. Buffy tilted her head slightly, gazing down at the wood. "Sort of like how I killed the Mayor on Faith, then." the other Slayer was never getting an apology for that, because she'd do it a million times over and never once feel bad about it.
"You can't just be who he deserves. This isn't like my home where it's pretty easy to tell who's good and who's not. There's not clear line with demons here. The only way you're going to get there is over time. And it's probably going to suck the entire way." it wasn't going to be fun, at all. And why did Buffy even care again?
Buffy snorted back a laugh, shaking her head. "Normal isn't a word that describes my life. If Dean wants normal, he's looking at the wrong girl." she'd never have a normal life, she couldn't give anyone a normal life. Even if she wasn't at home where she was 'chosen' she couldn't turn off being a Slayer. "What happened to the girl?" if Sam loved her that much, where was she now, and how the hell was Ruby in the picture instead of her?
Normal girls? Yeah, she fully supported dating them. But then again, when she looked around, most of her loved ones had relationships that were anything but normal.
