Faith nodded absently, finishing off the fries in her hands. She didn’t really feel redeemed, and would have laughed if Ruby told her that. “This place is fun?” Not in Faith’s opinion. Or not that she’d seen yet. Fun for her would have meant more clubs, more partying, more vamps to stake. Maybe the occasional evil demon to kill. “A job?” She snorted. “Yeah, I beat up people for money and the guy paying me then makes money off the people who bet the wrong way.” Faith was a little embarrassed that everyone seemed to be making a big deal about her job, and she scuffed her boot along the ground absently, glancing to the water.
She eyed Ruby when the stone floated into her hand, but chose not to comment. She wasn’t a fan of magic, but hey, if that was her thing, oh well. “There isn’t much to know, really. I mean, there’s the occasional fight and apocalypse. But really?” She shrugged. “Not all that much.”
