His eyes did flicker to the machine, not that she knew that of course. It wasn't something he recognised but all the same he assumed it was hers. "Do you need help carrying anything?" he asked simply, "Is that...device, yours?"
Helpful, mingled with curiousity. Wasn't he nice. He waited to be told weather to carry it or not and held out his arm. She would need to be guided back to the apartments, or maybe at least to one of those Taxi things. He thought he might learn to drive one of those car things. It didn't look that hard to do.
