Okay. So that wasn't really the answer that Tom had been expecting. But, to be fair, he hadn't been sure of what answer to expect when he asked those questions anyway. There was that one guy, Tom could never remember his name, that had built that time machine, but it wasn't Tom's thing.
He went back to checking out the street he was standing on. So this was what 2009 was going to look like. Huh. "This really ain't right. I was just in Africa. Back in 1899, actually." Man, Nemo's invention really seemed to take off. Automobiles were all over the place. And Tom really wouldn't be so surprised if he found out that other inventions of his were there.
