"Hoverboarding, huh?" That was new. He'd heard of it before, sure, but even with the tech that he had seen floating around the Dollhouse, Tony had never quite seen anyone hoverboard before. It seemed like one of those things that Topher would get excited about. Hell, he'd probably get pretty excited about it too if he was ever given the chance to give the hoverboarding thing a try. "I wouldn't mind giving something like that a try. We didn't have hoverboards where I'm from. Just mind wiping tech that I'm really not a big fan of."
Tony looked out at the grid, examining it carefully from where he was sitting. It looked an awful lot like Shay was doing a good job at piecing the thing together. "If you ever want any help with that, I'm around here most of the time," he offered, hands sliding across to rest on his knees as he leaned forward to give it a closer look. "As for home?" He shook his head. "I dunno. I'll miss some of the people, but I won't miss the mess that I was in before I got here. It was...pretty bad." On one hand, he felt glad to be rid of the chaos. Yet he did sort of feel guilty - they needed him back there. Echo. Priya. Could they deal with the Dollhouse on their own? "I'm still getting used to it. This." Tony looked over at Shay, shrugging. "Being free. I wasn't before and now I just don't seem to know what to do with myself half the time. Strange, isn't it? Spend five years trapped and now I don't know what to do." Without being told. Because that was all he had before. Instructions, a personality that wasn't his own, and the mission of the moment. Now it was different. Now he had to make his own decisions and he had forgotten what that was like. "Kinda stupid, isn't it? You'd think I'd have a list of things that I'd wanna do now."
