She was happy to let her story go, she still wasn't sure how much sense it made, even to her. But she knew that things would be better once she and the rest of the Cutters found Tally and Zane again and Tally was one of them. Just the way she was supposed to be, them against the world. She was also glad that he hadn't told her it was crazy, or weird, or any of the other reactions she'd gotten to the bits and peices she'd told so far.
She shrugged, "I don't really know yet. It's all ancient history for me, so I guess it's educational, but I miss home." Mostly she missed the Cutters, the silence in her head where Tachs and Ho and the rest always were got to be too much for her sometimes, "I think really what I miss is the grid, metal under anything so I can hoverboard whenever I want." She shook her head, pointing out over the edge of the roof, where the corner of the grid she was making out of chain link and scrap metal in the back of the complex was, "I'm working on making one here, but it's not the same." She tilted her head then, turning to him more fully, "How about you? Better or worse than where you were before?"
