"An Ugly?" Tony couldn't help but look confused at that. "I'm not too sure what that's supposed to mean outside of the obvious. And if it's got anything to do with the obvious..." He smiled, just a little. "This is a lot better than the last place I was in. They had us sleeping in these..." He looked over at Shay, releasing an uncertain sort of laugh. Most people would think he was strange for saying what he was about to. But wasn't that what most of the people around here were anyway? If anything, seeing what Shay had been doing on the roof right before he declared his presence should have verified that. "We slept in pods. Right next to each other. In this...circular sort of room. Did everything together. Got up, showered, ate, exercised...you wanna talk about a bunch of people in one place? This is nothing. This is normal."
Honestly, if he hadn't been thrown into the Dollhouse and hadn't lived out all those wacky experiences there, Tony might have been the one to play the skeptic at what he was being told now. But he did understand. Even thought that was a lot different than what he was used to, he was the guy who had undergone some crazy procedure so that he was able to become anyone that the Dollhouse wanted for him to be. He couldn't judge on the futuristic exploration of a persons body. Especially when there was tech involved. "Internet, yeah." He looked over at Shay, admittedly intrigued. "Why?" That 'why' probably wasn't enough. He shook his head, then pressed again. "Why are you like that?"
