At the answer, Barbara was literally horrified. Just the idea of it... She wanted answers! That was not the way to handle a charge! Especially not if it put them in unknown dangers! She had experience in this area! and that was when you pulled them out! Moved somewhere else! You were training them! Teaching them! Guiding them! Not somehow managing to get them killed!!!
She heard the tone in Tim's voice and nodded. "He won't hear it from me," she promised. The truth was that she was proud of TIm. She knew how much Bart's death had effected him and it was clear he was going out of his way to try and protect the young man as much as he could. She wondered if maybe she should have a talk with Chloe - she didn't know the person, she'd spoken to her on the boards only, but she'd have no problem dealing with that. But was it her place?
She sighed, trying to loosen her grip on the armwrest of the couch before she looked back up at Tim. "You did the right thing," she repeated. "How long ago was this?" She needed a timeframe context. It was weird enough that she wasn't on the same date she'd been back in Gotham. She just needed to catch up.
