Who: Dawn Summers & Sam Winchester When: Wednesday afternoon What: Dawn's first driving lesson Where: Starting outside the complex, then...somewhere she can learn to drive without killing someone. Ratings: Probably fairly low Status: In Progress
Dawn was very excited. Probably a bit more than she might've been usually, but since Glory's arrival, she had found herself very determined to stay as happy as she could. Or, at least she was since she'd been chewed out for provoking a hellgod and an evil Slayer. She didn't want Buffy or anyone else mad at her, or worried about her, so she was trying very hard to stay in a good mood. Making friends had helped with that.
The teenager dressed in a pair of semi-loose jeans and a t-shirt, grabbed her sunglasses and purse, and headed downstairs. She jogged lightly down the steps until she reached the outside of the complex, then sat on the steps to wait for Sam. So what if she was early? She wanted to make a good impression on her sister's almost-boyfriend's brother; she also really wanted to learn.
As she sat waiting for him, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail, then started to people-watch. A part of her wondered if she might one day see Glory or one of her minions pass by, but Buffy had assured her that the spell the witches had done would keep the hell god from seeing her. Dawn only hoped that Buffy was right. She knew from experience that magic didn't always go the way you wanted it to, and she couldn't help but be a little bit worried. After about ten minutes of waiting, the teen shifted so that she was leaning back, suntanning just a bit, her eyes closed behind the sunglasses.
