"Yeah, he was bad for that." she mused, except for when he was Angelus, then he was downright terrifyingly good and lying. "...he could do it if he had to though." there had been times when he had lied to her, and he had done it well. Or maybe she was just to busy wanting to believe whatever he said. Ah, high school. She watched him got for his cigarettes, the tiniest of frowns twitching at the corner of her mouth when she saw it. She didn't say anything, but when he seemed to have changed his mind, Buffy looked rather smug. At least he hadn't forgotten. If he was alive, he'd be dead from that stuff.
"You're not dead." she said firmly. At least she didn't really want to believe it. She didn't know how she thought about Angel in hell. disturbed, upsetting, but she also thought he had almost set himself up for it. Buffy hadn't know Spike was alive, and right there with him. "It's you two, you'll figure something out." maybe take over hell next. That had to be the next step after Wolfram and Hart.
"I'm not frolicking." she corrected, rolling her eyes. "I'm leading hundreds of Slayers. Taking on Hellmouths, new threats, training new Slayers, dealing with rogue ones, and bad PR. Fighting armies of vampires who stole Dracula's powers and wanted to reverse the Slayer mojo." her expression twisted in disgust for a moment. Slayers that needed public PR. Wrong.
Her mind flicked over things that had happened. She'd gone to the future, and had to kill Willow there. Her best friend. There had been the bank robbing. The...nights with Satsu that he didn't need to know about, he already knew about Harmony. "Not really." she said casually with a shrug. "Same old. Slaying things, just more people to help me out."
