Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:brynna addams, dawn summers, guinevere, richie foley/gear, virgil hawkins/static

Who: Dawn and open to all the complex-teens! (Adults need not apply :-P )
Where: Dawn's apartment-#407
What: Movie Night!
When: Saturday night
Rating: They're teens. Probably pretty low
Status: Incomplete

Dawn had fun raiding her sister's apartment for movies. When she returned to her room, her arms held a veritable plethora of movies: Underworld, Hitch, 28 Days Later, Madagascar, Ratatouille, and Epic Movie. None of which she'd heard of, so she was actually up for watching any of them. Her sister seemed to have an awesome collection of movies, and she doubted Buffy would mind her borrowing them. She'd give them back. Eventually. Setting the dvd's next to the tv, she headed for the phone and ordered the pizzas-with one of them being anchovies and extra cheese, for her. She had no problem with the idea that she might be the only one who liked the little fishies on her pizza. More for her!

That done, she straightened up a little, making sure there was nothing totally embarrassing around, like bras or underwear. Dawn headed for the door after that and hovered near it to wait and see who would show up first.

Richie walked in, putting everything he was carrying on one of the tables and turned to Virgil. "Well at least they know to get outta the way when the Richster is out!" He was pretty sure it was as lame as it had sounded in his head but he didn't care.

"Hey, not all twilight zone episodes ended in bad things. There's one where the guy sacrifices himself so the kid doesn't die. You know the one, Virg. The one with that crafty pitch man?" his eyes then focused on the two girls and he blinked. "Dopplegangers at twelve o'clock. Place keeps getting weirder by the minute..."

"At least, we're not crazy most of the time. Occasionally I'm evil." Dawn grinned jokingly, then laughed at Virgil's words. "Which means it's been three days too long." It'd been longer for her, and she seriously needed a pizza fix.

"Yeah, I think a couple of twilight zones just ended with the bad guy getting his due. But I still feel bad for the guy whose glasses got broken and he couldn't read anymore." She went to the mini kitchen and pulled out some paper plates and plastic cups she'd gotten just a couple days before for use in her apartment, and brought them back over to the living room. Of course, she doubted the plates would be used. She was pretty sure she'd be eating her pizza right out of the box-especially if she was the only one who liked anchovies.

"So I grabbed a bunch of movies from my sister...we can watch whichever you guys pick." She nodded to the stack that sat next to the TV.

Gwen had debated for ages after seeing the invitation to this, not knowing if she should go or not. But then she realised that if she wanted to make more friends here she might as well take up any invitations that came her way. Grabbing whatever food she thought appropriate for this gathering, she headed to the room she was told to go to. Never one to walk in unannounced, her years as a servant drilling that into her, she gently knocked on the door.

Kendra was excellent at jumping into things. Jumping into a fight. Jumping to conclusions (though she would like to point out that thinking that Buffy was a vampire had been perfectly logical). However, when it came with socializing with people about her age she always found herself hesitating. Falling back. Which wasn't at all the way to go if she wanted to attempt having ... being a ... Kendra sighed at her own ridiculousness. They were just a bunch of children. She had dealt with much more intimidating and powerful beings. Okay, fine. She had studied most of them.

The thing was. Even if she had interacted with some of the demons she had studied about as much as she had with teenagers, she at least knew-with the demons-what she was getting into. She was prepared for those. A bunch chattery, peppy, people in her age group? Not in a million years.

However, she supposed there was something to the entire experiantial learning.

Grabbing an unopen juice from her room and some chips, she fortified her nerves and went to the room mentioned. Showing up right after a curly haired young woman.

Virgil rolled his eyes at Richie but paid more attention too listening to the sound of the twang of Bry's accent it was definitely not going to be hard to tell her apart at all from Dawn. Not as hard as he thought. But it was good she mentioned the shirt thing, movies usually didn't mean talking. But with teenagers who knew what would really happen in the ways of actually watching. Nine out of ten times he and Richie did a movie night they ended up multi tasking with video games and hardly paying an ounce of attention to whatever was on the screen.

"Three days without pizza..the end of the world must be near." A feigned look of shock and awe at Dawn that broke into a grin as he leaned on the counter where the sodas and snacks were and dug a hand into the nearest bowl of candy. Straight for a candy coma before the movie even started. That was exactly what he needed. He heard a knock at the door and raised a brow. "Nice turnout."

"Never mind evil creatures with nefarious intentions, pizza withdrawls will bring about the apocolypse," Brynna said with a laugh as she opened the door.

She only recognized one of the girls, "Hey, Kendra."

Tim was late, but he was there. He'd been hanging around Clark for most of the day and around lots of silver metal as evidence his hands were a little dirty with the stuff. But he was there. That was what mattered right? Dawn and Virgil had put this thing together, and who knew it could be nice to hang out with other kids his age. who knew when he'd get the time again. He went to Dawn's apartment following behind a curly haired girl and Kendra, he slipped inside once the door was opened and up to Brynna; who he thought was Dawn and tapped her on the shoulder. Moving to as not to be seen. It was almost like he'd appeared out of nowhere. "Hey you." He said with a smirk and cool tone, ninja skills came in handy for impressing girls sometimes. He hoped it worked on her.

Dawn laughed at Virgil's and Brynna's words. "Definitely. No pizza always equals the end of the world in my book." Since no one else had picked out a movie yet, she went through the stack herself, and slipped Epic Movie into the player to get it ready. As a knock came, she glanced over while Brynna opened it to see if it was the pizza.

Instead, it was three more people! Two more girls, and then a few seconds later, she blinked as Tim was suddenly standing next to Brynna and talking to her. She grinned, glancing over at Virgil and Richie and holding a finger to her lips for them not to say anything. The teen then quietly headed over to the door and walked up behind Tim, then tapped his shoulder. "Hey."

Gwen gave a shy smile to the girl who had turned up next to her, glad that she wasn't the only person bringing things. After all it only seemed fair, if someone was inviting her over. Plus she wanted to make more friends, so a friendly smile was the best thing to do.

"Hello," she said quietly to the girl.

Then the door was opening and she was met by a friendly smile. She didn't recognise the girl, she hadn't met many as it was, and that was shown when the person who opened the door to the girl who had arrived the same time as Gwen. Kendra was her name, so at least she knew the name of one of the girls.

"Hi, I hope it's fine that I came. I never responded to the invite."
