Founded in the late 1700s by the English family, Northhollow has grown from its humble beginnings to a buzzing metropolis; home to many of its original founding families such as the Marlowe family and the newer Bennett family, whom despite a long rivalry, both trace back to the original English family.
The modern day Northhollow is a beautiful coastal town, only a few dozen miles from many natural wonders: mountains, lush forests, and the Viritras River. Within town limits, Northhollow is home to Northhollow University and conglomerates Marlowe Enterprises and Bennett Industries.
One cannot discuss Northhollow without discussing the long rivalry between the Marlowe and Bennett families, which traces back to 1956 when Sylvia Elliot, childhood sweetheart of Walter Marlowe, married George Bennett, a wealthy newcomer. The wedding created scandal within the usually quiet, peaceful town and nearly tore its residents apart for decades until the untimely death of George Bennett in 2009.
While the Marlowe and Bennett families remain amicable at best, it is said that the death of the Bennett patriarch has not cooled neither the social nor business rivalries between the elder members of the two families.
Northhollow is an original character role-play, based in the fictional town of the same name. Inspired by the daytime soaps that everyone’s mothers, aunts, and grandmothers watch, the world of Northhollow is dynamic and ever-changing with plots ranging from romance to murder.
