You are an awesome player. You're active, generally more than you're required to be. You love getting pulled into various plots and storylines, because anything that gives your character something beyond pub encounters--which are okay, too, every once in awhile--is a blast to play. You work hard on developing your character, and you appreciate it when the other players in the game give their characters similar attention. You also love talking to other players. Maybe not all the time, but you know that the best way to build great relationships between characters is to have steady communication with their writers.
You want a game where the concept is fun, and where the mods are dedicated to seeing it through. It's not necessary for there to be several dozen players (although it can't hurt!), but you want enough characters and players around to satisfy your desire to thread, because you don't want to get bored. You want enough structure that the world is easy to envision, but enough freedom to develop your characters. The mods should be available when you need them, and they should be willing to make tough decisions to keep your playtime fun.
Sometimes you think maybe you're too picky, because all that is really hard to find in one package.
But look no further!
We modly types at Bloodlines created the game because we were players just like you. And still are, for that matter. If you haven't found your home yet, we encourage you to take a look at what we've built. We think you might enjoy as much as we and our current players do.
The Concept
It is mid-November 2002. All of our favourite characters are past school and living in various stages of their lives. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley are full-blown Aurors on a severely understaffed Squad. Neville Longbottom is recently engaged to Mandy Brocklehurst, who is pregnant. Pansy Parkinson is looking for a positive move forward in her life, working in law at the Ministry with Angelina Johnson. Lavender Brown has had a capital-V Vision, only she doesn't realise it. Charlie Weasley has only recently learned that Susan Bones's 9-month-old baby is actually his 9-month-old baby.
Sounds like life is coming along nicely, right? Well, there's just one catch:
Half of these people are very ill, or they will be very ill if they aren't very careful. Some of them may even die, all because of some unnamed disease that came virtually out of nowhere. The Muggles call it a superflu, but it's much more than that. And the worst part? St. Mungo's hasn't yet been able to figure out where this disease even came from, much less how to stop it.
We're having a blast at Bloodlines, and it would be even better if we had you, too!
