make your own kind of music |
sing your own special song |
Lifesong is a new kind of roleplaying game, based around the power of music to change lives -- literally. Millions of people worldwide are experiencing what's become known as the Lifesong Disorder -- a strong mental and physical connection to a song. Some are also afflicted with Lovesongs -- songs that control their own romantic lives. People believe it's a hoax, yet others believe in it with all their being. What if your life and love were governed not by your mind or heart, but by a song? What if fate were completely out of your hands and you constantly knew what to expect out of life simply because the lyrics tell you everything you need to know? The power of destiny may take away control, but half the fun is fighting to regain it. Life isn't worse. It isn't unbearable, or boring. It's more unexpected than ever. ♫ Full, Detailed Synopsis ♫ Application ♫ Community Profile ♫ Body Models - Holds & Taken ♫ Songs - Holds & Taken |
even if nobody else sings along |
Lifesong has just begun, so players are in high demand! The application is neither lengthy nor excessively detailed. Since we are a new game, the possibilities for your characters' songs and body models are just about endless. Very few holds have been made -- get in there and snag your preferences while they're still available! Gameplay can take place however you desire -- through generic threading via InsaneJournal posts, or even just reposting a short IM-based roleplay. Import from a character's journal, or stick to playing out in journal entries. There are no limits to the ways your characters can express themselves! The game is not fandom-based, so no knowledge of various universes are required -- only earth as it is now, plus this mysterious 'disorder'. The only knowledge one needs to know is that of their characters' songs -- and really, who doesn't have a few favorites that they can always recall from memory? Players are allowed as many characters as they want (once they've proven themselves a reliable, consistent member), and aren't required to have a personal IJ account. What are you waiting for? |
