Midnight, Texas is a dusty, often scorching-hot, one-intersection town with a population too small to count. The locals in Davy and Marthasville tend to refer to Midnight as the place where all the freaks gather. There are tales of witches, vampires, and other strange creatures flocking to the little town -- to hide or to lie in wait, depending on who you ask. Until now, people (especially local law enforcement) have insisted these rumors are simply that: stories. But the tales are being told more frequently: howls in the night, residents with telekinetic and psychic powers, strange disappearances. Midnighters know the truth: the town sits on a seam to Hell and it's been attracting more and more supernatural types, who often don't know why they've been drawn to the town themselves.
But now, something even stranger has happened: supernatural people (and those who know about them) from other worlds are being drawn in to Midnight, suddenly appearing on Witchlight Road, confused as to how they got there. More than that, there no longer seems to be any way out of the town, even for the residents. It's as if someone -- or something -- wants it that way.
OPENING OCTOBER 27TH. This is a panfandom roleplaying game based in Charlaine Harris' universe of TV and books. Characters from most supernatural-based TV shows, books, movie, or other media are welcome.
For the most part, characters MUST be supernatural or connected to someone who is (i.e., the entire non-Eleven cast of Stranger Things would count as "connected to someone who is.")
A *limited* number of characters from non-supernatural based fandoms are currently allowed, however we reserve the right to cap this number at any time.
We accept canon versions of characters, AU versions, as well as original fandom characters (though only ONE of each character - so if you're bringing in an AU version of Sookie Stackhouse, that's the game's only Sookie Stackhouse). Original concept OCs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
