September 2013, the tenth year anniversary of Gooseberry Alternative High School. The brightest teen witches and wizards in America take the long bus ride into the wilderness of northern Utah, where they’ll spend their mornings learning magic and inventing new spells, and their afternoons mountain-climbing, kayaking and riding winged horses.

There’s always been whispers that something lurks in these woods—something only seen in glimpses during long hikes, or heard clopping outside the cabins at night. The teachers insist there’s nothing to fear, but the more strange things happen, the more students have to wonder: what else shares the forest with them? Could be it friendly, or does it mean them harm?

Welcome to Gooseberry High, a slice-of-life American wizarding school game with atmospheric horror elements. Combining Hogwarts (houses, magic and Quidditch), high school drama (nerds, jocks, cheerleaders and choosing where you’ll sit in the cafeteria), camp (mosquitoes, roasting s’mores and the great outdoors), and the creepiness of being stuck in the middle of nowhere.
