GAME INFO..
There exists a place outside of space and time a place of pure magic. The magic of this world can be utilized and bent but it's will not broken by those who chose to occupy it. The magic has a will of it's own and while it can be harnessed can never truly be controlled.

In this realm of magic there exists a pocket dimension, where magic that has failed runs rampant and those who cross the barrier into this place, they find themselves in a world where nothing is ever certain.

Failed Attempts is a multi-gen displacement HP game that has been up and running for 7 MONTHS! and shows no signs of slowing down. The game is set in a magical village, which exists outside of the world as the characters know it, yet has some eerily similar sights. The residents there must learn to tolerate one another and work together to make life work in this strange and unpredictable world. We welcome all kinds of lines, dark and otherwise.

If you're looking for a friendly community full of enthusiastic players and characters, then this is the game for you. Our emphasis is on character development and building a sense of community for our player base.

We are always looking to expand our user base, to bring in a lot of new blood and fresh new story lines. Our application is simple and straight forward, and is reviewed by the members of the community. Everyone here at Failed Attempts gets their say in upcoming plots and we strive to accommodate players as much as possible.

s war enveloped the whole of England, a prophecy was made-- about a boy, and his defeat over the Dark Lord-- as overheard by the traitor Severus Snape. While Lord Voldemort worked tirelessly to lead a revolt against the Ministry of Magic and rebel against their acceptance of the Undesirables, he knew this prophecy could not, and would not, stand in his way for magical prosperity. Thus, it was Halloween in 1981, that the death of the heathen Harry Potter came to pass, ushering in a new era of peace and hope for all wizarding kind.

izengamot is a Harry Potter based alternate universe roleplaying game for original and canon characters. It is based on the idea of Voldemort winning during the First Wizarding War, and borrows themes from The Hunger Games trilogy and V for Vendetta to expound upon this idea. Although they were 'officially' defeated by the end of 1982, Dumbledore falsified his own death and quietly disbanded the Order of the Phoenix, but not before planting a handful of its members into positions of power in an effort to one day destroy the Dark Lord once and for all.

As Voldemort's reign of terror spread beyond the Wizarding World and throughout the whole of Europe, it seemed all was lost. But there is hope left, and that hope lies in Neville Longbottom, Albus Dumbledore, even Severus Snape-- and all those that remain loyal to the Order. In 2013, the day for rebellion draws closer and closer, one question remains: on what side would you fight?

Some doors should never be opened.

In the dark halls of a Las Vegas hotel, the grotesque and the terrible await. The Big Bad Wolf lurks behind a harmless cottage door. Lucifer schemes to open the Devil’s Gate once more. The Joker waits to bring chaos to a new, untouched Gotham. The Red Death yearns to breathe pestilence into a new ballroom. Voldemort anticipates his opportunity to strike out at a world that thinks itself rid of him at last. Dracula hungers for blood, and the sweet veins of his Mina. The villains of fiction await in the Passages Hotel. They’re contained for now to the minds of their hosts, to the doors they inhabit, the worlds they dream of tearing apart. But what will happen when that all changes?

Imagine coming home to find your wife in the arms of another man. Now take that feeling and add the horror of discovering she's covered in blood, that there are puncture wounds on her neck and that the man isn't kissing her like you'd first thought, he's actually killing her. Picture the scene: a woman lets her two children play in the woods the same way she always does in the time between dinner and bed. Throw in the shadow of a full moon and the cry of a wolf. Add to that the cries of the mother when she comes across her two children... or rather, what's left of them. Remember Little Red Riding Hood and the Lumberjack? Well what if grandma wasn't a wolf in disguise, what if she was the wolf? Hunters aren't born like Slayers and they aren't moulded from a legacy like Watchers. Hunters are created out of pain and grief and loss.
