A niche of normalcy.

The year is 1977. Voldemort has been gaining power and followers, but for the most part Hogwarts has continued to remain sheltered. There have of course been questions of disappearances and disturbances in both the muggle and wizarding world, and Voldemort has begun recruiting students from more influential families. There is no indication yet of exactly what scale all of this will eventually amount to, but things have begun to take shape, no matter how normal the Hogwarts staff tries to keep life at school.

Next to Normal is a mostly social game that explores the marauder era students as the world around them begins to get darker with the rising in power of Lord Voldemort.

This is Hogwarts, welcome home.

Looking for a home for my Bucky Barnes muse, preferably comic-verse but MCU can work too. Also willing to try my hand at Natasha (same deal, comics > movies but I'm willing to try either.) Other Marvel/MCU characters would be fun-- mostly looking for panfandom games, but Marvel-based or next gen games could be fun.

Comment here or in the personal journal if you have any suggestions.

Royal Park

Royal Park is a mental facility and rehabilitation center situated in the midst of the spectacular Cascade Mountains of Washington State.

The hospital is primarily an open unit facility, meaning patients can roam around freely throughout the building and grounds. However, due to the nature of the disorders some patients suffer from, Royal Park is a locked entrance/exit facility and has security to enforce this. Patients are unable to leave the facility for day trips without staff accompaniment, and it is not possible for a patient to check themselves out of treatment. The idea is to make life as normal as possible for patients while continuing treatment to the point where they can be discharged.

Royal Park boasts a large, up-to-date facility including a cafeteria, library, music room, and entertainment room, as well as a gym with a pool and tennis courts. Patients are roomed in pairs, with roommates assigned on arrival. Staff members have the option of living in the nearby town or onsite in the staff block on the fourth floor of the facility. For more information on the facility, click here.

We are always looking for new members, both patients and staff. Creativity with disorders is a plus, Wikipedia has a useful list of recognised psychiatric illnesses which you may find helpful!
