It's one year after the final war and the destruction of the Earth. The remaining humans that escaped have crash landed on a planet they know nothing about. It appears to be a tropical planet filled with threats. The survivors of the crash have set up a small colony in the center of the island, but with no modern weapons or technology they are having to make do with what they find. There is a secret about the planet that the colonists have yet to figure out. Will they learn the truth? Or will they stay stuck in the dark ages with little hope of survival?

No one wants to end up here but have no choice once society decides that they need to be off the streets and put into a place where they won't be a burden to them any longer. Reaper's Coast is a maximum security prison but also takes in inmates who have had too many misdemeanor's or felonies and need to be dealt with immediately.
The prison is the first co-ed prison in California on the coastline, although the men are separated from the women in their cells to keep problems from arising. Being in the state of California, death row is another service that this prison offers above some of the others. Those who are served with life in prison is another area where this prison excels.
