the kingdom of astorea

"attention good people of astorea!: the king has fallen! his royal highness has been usurped! the rest of the royal family has gone into hiding, but there are rumors that there is to be a war so the kingdom may see the rightful heir to the throne. the usurper urges everyone to support his cause, and will persecute anyone who chooses to rebel."

astorea was once a peaceful country. the king ruled for several years, with a powerful army and a reign of kindness. however, he has recently been usurped, sending the queen, and her family, into hiding. however, there are rumors that they are biding their time and waiting to strike and bring the usurper down. it has been a year since the king has fallen, and astorea has fallen into a much crueler state. the new king is still referred to by those so bold to not support him as the "king slayer," amongst other rude names. will you fight against the king slayer for what is right, or will you fight with him for your own safety?
