KILLING TIME

"In the war for survival, what side do you choose?"



A newborn vampire had went on a frenzy, causing nothing but death and destruction in it’s wake. The world could do nothing but watch in horror as the man created his own armies, whether it was knowingly or not. These armies had no purpose other then to kill and feed. Being pack hunters and very territorial, the nearby werewolves were obviously not happy at their food supply being taken advantage of in such a way and fought tooth and nail against the threat that was before them, but to no avail. Instead, all it did was out them as more monsters out to destroy the human race. Bordering up the walls of Salem, New Hampshire, and setting up posts of men with flame throwers, they hoped to contain the threat, but it was to no avail. There were too many of them and all those men became were more bodies to add to the count. Today, most humans have taken shelter underground, creating their own hidden city and doing what they can to salvage what is left of their lives. There is chaos at all times, and around every corner they are plagued with danger and death. It’s a fight for shelter, food, weapons, and worst of all, their own survival.

A DESPERATE WISH

It was a battle like any other. A fight they had fought for so long. The Brotherhood, run up against the X-Men. One trying to stop humanity's destruction of their own kind, one trying to protect all of mankind. Human and mutant alike. There were injuries, and there was fatigue. It was a parting shot, and still no one knows who took it. All they know is time, slowed. Pietro, known for his speed, had stopped. Somehow been hit and fallen. His sister, Wanda, turned and seeing his limp form, eye staring blankly at the sky, screamed enraged. She threw herself, and her powers, over his body, a silent plea for help, any sort of help. Her powers of reality manipulation pushed to their breaking and she too went limp.

But not before the world shimmered, and changed. Our reality, absorbed, absorbing another. Heroes and villains alike felt the odd shift, but none know exactly what has happened. Only that fallen comrades have returned. Loved ones, once thought lost, brought back, and new heroes, new enemies, emerged. The worlds of Marvel and D/C have joined. But do they trust each other? Or find a way to somehow separate their worlds once again? Knowing the consequences could be blinking out of existence all together.

2006. After years of war and rebuilding, Wizarding Great Britain has finally moved on... sort of. Old prejudices still die hard, after all. School rivalries still ring true, pureblood supremecists still hold their ideals close, and muggleborn rights activists still fight for equality. Though we may not get along, like it or not, we're all still connected.

Six Degrees has an incredibly active and diverse cast of characters, and our goal with the game is to explore the connections between them, especially the not so obvious ones. Rivalries may always exist, even long after Hogwarts is over, but without those House colors to define you, will you still so quickly judge those you meet?

We have been around since mid-December 2010, and have been growing ever since! There aren't complicated game histories to catch up on, and no lengthy reading before you can even think of applying. We're a group of dedicated writers who simply enjoy playing, and we're looking for more people to join us!

Time and space are ultimate dividing forces that separate generations of witches and wizards, but soon that divide will be breached. There have been cracks before, but one wizard will wrench it open completely. Named the Collector, he sits in his own empty world that he controls and manipulates as he desires. However, there is an issue. It is empty, yet this will not last. No, the Collector shall soon start gathering his toys to fill the gaps. Through various points in human history, he is taking who he wishes. His motivations may be unclear, but somehow each of his toys will serve a purpose for his plans.

Once each of these ‘toys’ are collected, they will be confronted by the realities of their situation. Information of their future lives will greet a large majority of his subjects, and then, they must cope. They cannot leave and, will instead, have to adapt. However, adapting is not simple for their situation will not remain constant. The Collector will not just leave his toys alone, but will play with them as he desires.

Life in the Collector's Domain will keep transforming. One moment the place will appear like a desert, then a coastal town, and then, a tropical rainforest. However, all the while, the people cannot leave until He demands it. They will experience various trials and tribulations, some that seem almost playful (from the outsider), and others, much more sinister.

So, what will you do when the Collector calls on you? As one of his toys, how will you survive? How will you react when you have no information about your situation, except for a small note in a journal that falls from the sky and what you can learn from those who are suffering through the same thing?
