Dresden Academy is a new model of magical education for young wizards and witches, hidden away from curious eyes in the beautiful Adirondacks of Upstate New York. Run by the Hulett family for as long as they've owned the town proper; the school is set to educate a new generation of talent. Dresden Academy is a high school/university game for Original Characters set in the Harry Potter Universe. We're looking for players who like organic plots and can think outside of the sandbox. ..welcome to the uprising.. It is the year 2001, the Wizarding World of Great Britain has been under the Dark Lord's rule for nearly five years. The Golden-trio is only marginally closer to solving the puzzle of victory than they were immediately following their beloved Headmaster's death. Muggleborns have been rounded up and held in cells at Azkaban. Those under the spell of the Complacens potion remain content with the government, but there are those who are beginning to fight it; those few that are beginning to build immunity to the potion and are assembling secretly underground. Where will you be when the world as we now know it burns to the ground? Will you continue to live under the draconian rule of the Dark Lord? Or will you be part of the Uprising? Game opened on July 30, 2010. Epic battles are on the horizon, as is the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord, between good and evil. Most wanted characters by other players include: Daphne Greengrass, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Aberforth Dumbledore, Fenrir Greyback, Sally-Anne Perks, Ministry Workers, Order members, On the Run Muggleborns and more. 2005; New Orleans is struck by Hurricane Katrina. Considered the fifth worst natural disaster in the history of the United States, the hurricane claimed over a thousand lives, and caused over $81 billion dollars in damage. Reconstruction of the beloved port city would take years. The vampires of the New Orleans coven - survivors of Queen Akasha's attempted genocide - were scattered. Some remained together, others traveled alone, but all were removed from the city that had become their home. Present day; a few of the older vampires have returned to N.O. in an attempt to help with reconstruction. One such vampire is Marius de Romanus, posing as a man of wealth and leisure. He buys up properties, fixing them up and renting them to mortals. He also opens a book store and an art gallery, using both of these as a means by which to stay updated with the current day. He provides shelter for new vampires in the area, and seeks to recreate the city as it once was. Slowly, the other vampires are returning as well, some through letters sent by Marius, some simply to see what has become of the city. And some are drawn back by rumor. A myth that has been around for over 700 years speaks of a myriad of objects that can restore a vampire from monster to something closer to human. There has been little proof for this myth, and so many discount it - yet its telling persists. A local museum showing may offer more answers. You are here, in New Orleans. I am in need of a shit ton of lines. So if you want to hook a sister up, that'd be fantastic.

I NEED:

An exhusband for kenziewash who is 22, going on 23, with a line that can be forgiving or brutal. Doesn't matter to me. I am not pb picky. :)

A dealer for hunterbrookes who is 23, who was likely his friend, too. Hunter always paid for his drugs, full price, but he's fresh out of rehab now and the dealer is going to be all 'What happened to my best customer, yo?' Well. Perhaps not in those exact words, but you catch my drift.

Hunter also needs more of the good and the bad influences kind of friends. He's been running around, partying, drinking it up, and acting like a crazy person. People who knew him pre-rehab to either encourage or discourage would be fantastic.

Besides needing friends and a dealer, or people he's hooked up with for drugs or drug money in the past (boys or girls, doesn't matter, money is money at this point), he really needs his family. He has five brothers, and three sisters. All open for the playing. I'm not pb picky so long as they look somewhat alike.

FAMILY for clearychase. The boy is 18, a rising actor, and he's got his own floor of their huge house. He's wild and reckless (but surprisingly straightedge), so if you feel like YOU could be one of four to five siblings depending on if the first sister hold stays or not, then come on down!! He has three brothers and two sisters. They can be wild and crazy or they can be civil and demanding or ~however you want to play it. But family. Plz.

And lastly, rinthornton is 17 going on 18, and her older brother has been taking care of her for four years after their mom died and their dad committed suicide. Their brother, Jude, ran away when he was sixteen, leaving Rin and the oldest brother to figure things out together. Mom and dad left all the money to the older brother. The relationship isn't a fantastic one, but that's just because Rin over exaggerates about everything.

The great part about this game is that a lot of people have just started with their few characters, so if you join us, there's a great likelihood your lines are going to get filled too.

textsfln is based in Chicago, Illinois, around the concept of using three texts from the website Texts From Last Night that you base around your character. So far, we have some very interesting characters and plots going down and I'd love nothing more than for you guys to be a part of them!!! We just started, but there's already awesome amounts of activity, so get it on it!!

For years, Lady Tromedlov and her legion have wreaked havoc upon the wizarding community. Terror and death plagued the United States until she was killed by a brave group of wizards and witches. Her legion, sadistic and ruthless, were (and still are) dedicated to her cause. Some have been imprisoned and sent to Azkaban, others have hidden away from the public eye. They wait in the darkness for the return of their leader.

Ten years following the death of the world’s most feared villainess, the wizarding world is finally at peace and a set of students (new and old) are filling the halls of Hogwarts. The Glee club memebers are in their 5th and 6th years at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, ready to continue their fun-filled year.

Apply for a gleek and enter the world of wizards, witches, spells and songs. The game started on December 1st. There are no holds on characters, so get in those applications!

Premise for dont_scream Everyone's been brought to a dilapidated old Mansion with no memory of being brought there, they would have to figure out life on the island for themselves, but this was just where their problems began. Not everyone who was selected was good, and not everything that happens on the island is exactly nice. With the presence of Bathazar and Ruby who were there to tilt things in their favor, both good and bad can happen, though they aren’t the only interference. Amongst the island’s many mysteries to vampires, demons, the most worrisome would have to be the serial killer. No one knows exactly who it is, whether they are their next door neighbor or the group’s outcast which makes it all the more harder to trust anyone.
