In the spring of 1998 the trio were captured in Malfoy Manor where fate would dictate they escape with the assistance of Dobby the House Elf. However, fate did not go according to the plan. In the last second the elf was killed leaving the trio to the mercy of You Know Who. With Potter captured the path was clear to the Ministry and after numerous show trials, in July, the Death Eaters took over completely. It is a plot that could fit into many games, but there is one difference- it is not the Dark Lord that rules but a Dark Lady, there was not a boy who lived but a Girl Who Lived, the greatest Headmaster that lived was actually a Headmistress and it was her father’s love not her mother’s love that allowed the Girl Who Lived to survive.

Enter a world where the outcome of the war has not just been turned on its head, but every character’s gender.

Harmony - a city of perfection falling apart at the seams. What began as a complex social experiment is descending into chaos with the death of its ringleader, leaving too many factions vying for control over things they do not fully understand.

At its core lies a sentient city, breathing and watching and waiting, located at a crossroads in the universe. Creatures from all known worlds rub shoulders in the streets, having been initially attracted to the outward simplicity of life Harmony offers, and the city sends out tendrils of its awareness to help its citizens tolerate the occasional magical malfunctions that occur due to its location in the multiverse.

Because you see, Harmony likes you, and wants you to stay.

[info]darkmarkrising is a great game that has just started. We have a whopping 34+ characters so far, but we really need more. It's set in 1976, at the very beginning of Voldemort's rise to power, and thus everyone is pretty much just chilling at school and being teenagers until the drama hits the fan. We have so many characters available - including Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Bellatrix Black, as well as a lot of other key MWPP figures! We could really go for more Order members, too, and Hufflepuff Quidditch members.

It's an incredibly OC-friendly game, and it promises longevity. Its first incarnation went for well over a year, and its success was such that a lot of the old players begged the mods to give it another go. I would love to see this game have an incredibly long run as it promises to be very successful. It's a slash-friendly, plot-friendly game with tons of lovely people and moderators who are willing to work with you on just about everything. So, what are you waiting for? Go there now!
