On 10 June 1978, the man known as Lord Voldemort conquered the Wizarding World and named himself Minister for Magic of England. The Order of the Phoenix went underground to continue the fight, but they knew it was over.

Ten years later, it is June 1988, and the world has changed. Wizards now bear tattoos on the back of their necks ranking them from I to VII based on blood purity. No Muggleborn is allowed at Hogwarts, marriage is strictly monitored, and anyone who gets in the Ministry's way receives a one-way ticket to the grave.

With each day that passes, life gets worse, and the witches and wizards with the courage to fight are regathering. In the past ten years, countless lives have been lost, and the time for action is now.

Since the beginning of time, mankind has existed between the world of light, and the world of darkness. Our secret society has been here forever. Protecting others from the creatures that inhabit the shadows and the night.


The Legacy, a secret society that works under the guise of The Luna Foundation, a philanthropic organization with offices around the world. Unbeknown to most of the world, these offices, these houses, also work to recruit talented, intelligent, and gifted individuals in their fight to keep the darkness at bay. Debunking paranormal happenings as well as researching and helping innocents that are dealing with paranormal occurrences. Using new technology as well as ancient texts, they keep the creatures and followers of the Dark at bay. Always fighting for the light, they have had their share of losses. The San Fransisco house was destroyed in 1999. The surviving team members scattered to other houses around the country and world. The dark is creeping up again in the area and the house on Angel Island, has been rebuilt. A new team dispatched under a new house leader, the Precept. This new team will work on cases that have built up on the west coast, working with the police, hospitals and even the Derek Rayne Museum of Antiquities to solve mysteries, safely dispatch artifacts and keep watch over the shadows and creatures running rampant.

VACANT. A prosperous vineyard owner in Napa Valley, Ariadne’s lands abut those of Dionysus,’ yet while her lands flourish, his fail. Leaving the care of the vineyard to a family friend, Ariadne followed a childhood flame to Southern California in the hopes that he would wed her, but after she got Theseus out of an ugly financial jam, he kicked her to the curb. Too proud to admit her mistake to her remaining family, especially since she’s supposed to be a responsible landowner, she’s convinced she just needs six months to get back what she lost and return home with some dignity.

VACANT. Understudy to his brother Osiris at Disney’s Aladdin in Disneyland’s California Adventure park, Set has always been jealous of brother Osiris’ success. When their parents divorced, Set remained with his mother, and he poured all his energy into voice lessons, only to have Osiris steal his dream role without even trying. He’s decided that enough is enough, and he fully intends to be center stage, even if he has to take Osiris out to do it.

Premise:
There is an apartment building in California called 'Pax Letale.' Most people ignore its auspicious name, though they would be advised to pay more attention to its meaning.

It is a strange building.

Every man, woman and child in the building is a reincarnated myth, the stories told to humans for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years. Once very real, the myths began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. They have all been reborn in human forms, though their essence remains, waiting to be awakened at the right time, in the right place.

Now is the time - Pax Letale is the place. As their lives connect and weave together, as they follow their petty desires and long-held grudges, they are, all of them, on the brink of disaster. Their Landlord knows their every move, and the building they live in seems to have an agenda of its own. People are tortured, people die, people plot behind each other's backs and sneak around and cheat. They love, they fight, they draw blood.

They came at night, men and women in white coats with needles and drugs, chloroform and ether, invading the sanctity of homes. They stepped through portals and no wards or locks could stop them. They kidnapped individuals and took them to an artificial island for the purpose of observing them.

The Heads put their new subjects in rooms in a hotel, turned on their cameras, and settled down to wait. They were engaged in a social experiment, peppering their artificial island with rumors of a way back home, if only people could learn to work together.

But the people weren't simply left to their own devices. The Heads create hazards on a weekly basis to keep the population on their toes and to observe the effects of various changes to the environment. They want to see the formation of bonds of friendship and love, of animosity and hatred, and then test those bonds.

Is there an escape? Will it be found before it's too late? Can antagonists learn to work together? Come join us and find out ...

This Town, Your Grave is a new OC game based on music and the supernatural. Your character is dying. They don't know it, but they were on the cusp of death before they awoke in River's Crossing. The reason they've been chosen to be there is simple. Their soul is stuck in the middling state between good and evil. Somewhere along the way, a good person did something terrible or a terrible person did something good. River's Crossing acts as a limbo of sorts.

Music plays a large part of This Town, Your Grave and part of the application process is providing a song that inspired the creation of your character. Each character will be based on a different song. This provides a unique and fun aspect to the game.
