You open your eyes to darkness. The air smells stale and confined. Lifting a hand, you feel glass, smooth and curved. Instinctively, your heart beats faster. A tentative push and it rises away from you, swinging to the side. Light filters in through windows above. You blink, your eyes adjusting to the shadowed room as you try to remember what happened.

A thin layer of dust covers everything. There are no panes of glass in the windows. The virus. You remember now. They told you stasis was a precaution. Only a few weeks. A month, at best. Let them get the virus under control.

Standing beside your pod, legs shaking from disuse, you feel a sense of apprehension creeping over you. Your heart beats even faster now. A table nearby has a pile of scrolls on it and, with a sense of foreboding, you cross to find the one with your initials on it.

Waking Pandora is an AU, post-apocalyptic Harry Potter RPG based partially on the History Channel series Life after People. One hundred years after humanity is destroyed by a Muggle-made virus, people - magical and muggle - are waking up in the stasis pods that had been humanity's bid for survival.

Armed with only a small pack of things, your wits, and limited initial magical ability, you must learn to not only survive but also rebuild the world, brick by brick, and child by child. Anything is possible in Waking Pandora.

Coming out is never easy.

Some kids get kicked out onto the streets. Some kids get sent to boot camps. When the Wizarding world accidentally came out to Muggle civilization, it was marginalized, hunted, and killed. Entire Wizarding populations have been extinguished in countries like North Korea. In others, like the Republic of Ireland, they are fighting for their lives. Great Britain has, in the past year and a half, earned one of the most successful track records in the world for Magic-Muggle integration. The Minister and Prime Minister have had frequent talks on everything from Magic safe zones to the ethical viability of blood lollipops. Aside from occasional rioting and some incursions from Irish extremists, the transition into public life has gone relatively well for the British Magic community.

But students are the future, and not all of them agree that peace is the best option when it comes to dealing with Muggles.

Pureblood culture is dying out, and even as it is replaced by the new fullblood elite - Nouveau Pur - it's become clear that Hogwarts' newest crisis has little to do with blood. The brewing war against Muggles is no longer about purity, but survival. As Wizarding Britain's future leaders prepare for the outside world, their choice of weapons is in their hands.

Kapow! is an RPG based on a simple concept: Superheroes. And supervillains too, I guess. They'd probably send a nasty letter if we left them out, wouldn't they?

In a world where "metahuman" is the PC term for every caped crusader and villainous mastermind, teenage superheroes pose for 17 magazine, and the "bad guys" have a Big Brothers Big Sisters program for recruiting young n'er-do-wells, the line between the superheroes on lunchboxes and the villains on their target practice is most smudged in the city of Denham, where Kapow! takes place. A new RPG looking for members, Kapow! is a game full of creative, crack-filled, super-powered fun. Here are the villains you won't see in DC or Marvel, and the sides of comic book heroes that you never get to see on the page.

Come and join us in a world of utility belts and freeze-rays, product placements on jet-packs and faulty earth-quake machines. Superheroes, supervillains, and even civilians are needed!

There are many reasons to take an island vacation. There's nice weather, fruity drinks with fancy umbrellas and swords, and hammocks swaying gently in the breeze. The things you don't think of are the insects, mermaids, and all that pesky magic. It seems that you can hardly curse at a stray cannonball from the eternal pirates on the beautiful tempestuous ocean without some manner of reaction from the world. Maybe it's just something in the air, or maybe it's that strange man baking bread at all hours of the night. The only way to find out, and get home, is ask around and then ask yourself if this life isn't just a little bit more fun than the one you left behind.

Taste of Magic is a panfandom RPG that takes place on a magical island half a step away from the normal world. All fandoms are welcome, all pups are eagerly greeted with a smile and a cookie. There are buildings to create, a village and underwater city to explore, and, yes, pirates to fight or join.

Game is open. We welcome all adult content; het, femme, slash, w/e. We do not welcome violence and drama.

The end of the world is no longer nigh - it's already here...


All around the world, society seems to be falling apart, civilisation crumbling. The modern world is tearing itself apart under the weight of a reality it has denied for so many years. The reality that the supernatural does actually exist.

It exists and some of it is actively aiding that downfall as people wake up for find that they're voted demons into office, that their laws and structures were made by the things that really do go bump in the night. Mob rule has taken down some places in the world, and global communications are failing quickly.

But some areas are holding out, trying to keep it together. Communities who are standing side by side, willing to fight to preserve their way of life. But what is their way of life? Who gets to decide that? And does 'supernatural' automatically mean bad?

PREMISE

The country lies in ruin. After a nuclear holocaust meant to cleanse the land of the infection upon it, a Quarantine remains enforced by international powers. Trapped in their own burnt land, with none to aid them, what remains of the once majestic United States has been reduced to ash and blood. But even after the blast clears, and those brave few survivors emerge from their shelters, a horrific realization awaits: despite the bombs, despite the waste that has eaten the landscape, the infection has survived. Virulent and strong, it spreads viciously through the land again. Now, those left behind must run for their lives from these grasping creatures.

Two years after the creation of Compound One, the refugees find themselves in the midst of civil war. Threat of death from their fellow man now equals the infection. As the bounty on their heads grows higher with every passing day, those still trapped in the Compound struggle to achieve basic human rights under the new leadership regime. There are desperate attempts to move the imprisoned to freedom - even if safety is now impossible. And a core group of heroic survivors attempts to start life anew, under some semblance of civilization. But as the realities of life press down harder than ever before, these basic tenets of survival in New York have finally been accepted:

The Quarantine will never be lifted.

The refugees can never go home.
