Twenty years ago, the Muggle population of Great Britain was nearly wiped out by a devastating Dark spell cast by Lord Voldemort. In the aftermath, the survivors discovered that they could not leave the barren isles; Voldemort's Ministry in London and Dumbledore's refugee camp in Hogwarts were all but alone with each other. That was then. This is now. It is the summer of 1996, and both sides have realised that they have little hope of survival if they cannot band together. With Hogsmeade newly declared neutral ground, and Hogwarts finally open not only to Dumbledore's people but to the children of London, an experiment in peace is about to begin. But two decades of cold war have left terrible scars. The people of Britain are living under a flag of tentative truce, not surrender. Though tensions rise, new bonds are forged, and there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: maybe, just maybe, they can put aside their differences for the good of all. It would be foolish to count on it. |

In 1954 when Grindlewald was at the height of his reign over Europe a hero descended on him with a group of like minded individuals and ended the sweep of terror that was plaguing the Wizarding World. That great Hero was Tom M. Riddle. You might have heard the story as it being Albus Dumbledore but this is a different tale. It changed so many things and now with Minister Riddle heading the British Ministry the Wizarding World is a far different place. Albus Dumbledore never received the prestige and honor of downing such a threat. He never even became headmaster of Hogwarts, no chocolate frog card; he is merely a bright wizard that never reached his full potential. There is no such thing as interaction with the Muggle World. The first task of the Department of Mysteries was to device a way to pinpoint muggles carrying magical children. When that was accomplished all expecting mothers of magical children were taken to the Wizarding World. The woman is paired to a fostering magical family expecting a child around the same time. When the children are born they are called Magical Twins. The muggle woman is obliviated and deposited back in her world with no idea where her child has gone or that she was even carrying one. These twins are treated no different from any blood related children of their parents. It is a gift to raise a child in such a way giving them a better life then they could have had otherwise. Blood classification has been abolished. the year is 2579 and all is well or at least that was the way that it seemed. the delicate balance between the wizarding world and muggles that has existed for centuries is about to be tipped. this of course is nothing that the wizards want or for that matter expect. they want nothing to do with the muggles and their petty wars. the wizarding world as a whole still thinks that things are much better off the way they've always been and even if they weren't that wouldn't matter. at the moment they have problems of their own to deal with the most important one being an uprising of werewolves. although they never really expected that to become the muggles problem more then it usually did.

A Dark Wizard, a Voldemort-wannabe of sorts, decided that for his soldiers, he would create a beyond time for a training grounds, and then bring the best and brightest children of the ages to it and have his followers train them. But something went wrong, and he ended up with a whole town of adults, young and old. And it seems a lot of them don't agree with his idea of controlling muggles and becoming king of the world. Oops. From all different times and places, the witches and wizards of the United Kingdom have been plopped down into a town without much else to do other than try to find the Dark King, and get out of here. With even school-age children running a muck, and the adults trying to restore order, what could happen? Fights will break out, futures will be learned, people who were never meant to meet will get to play a game of cards, even. This is Advena Magia, do you know the way out? | |

Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter. Born to Lily and James Potter, left a scarred orphan before his second birthday, and deemed The Chosen One after Voldemort's return. The boy who spent a year scouring the country for the remaining Horcruxes while war raged and countless died. But what if you could change history? Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before. To go back in time, hunt down the Horcruxes, and defeat Voldemort before the second war ever happens. To prevent the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands. To change the course of history. Most agree, but there are dangers none of them could have foreseen. There is no guarantee they will be able to return to their own time--or survive long enough to try. Darkness permeates every aspect of the wizarding world, and no one outside of the Order can discover who they are. But most importantly, the combined Order must work together and hunt down the Horcruxes before it's too late. History is changing right before their eyes. But the war isn't over yet--and things are only getting started. |

| Welcome to Unfinished Tales, the stories of the fourth age of Men. The shadow of Sauron has fallen, and the peoples of Middle-Earth pick up the pieces. An unknown darkness rises in the East and to combat this darkness the Halls of Mandos have opened letting out heroes with no memory of evil times. The elves who were to depart into the West postpone their journeys to help the Men who struggle with long-sleeping evils. We aim to further the tales at the end of The Return of the King as well as in the Fourth Age through the use of journals and AOL instant messenger chat.
