A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.
Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.
The year is 1865 and you are invited to come and join us.

67_mod could really use CHUCK SHURLEY & BECKY ROSEN, as well as BOBBY SINGER, RAPHAEL, ZACHARIAH, and other demons (like MEG!) and angels! There is no dark plot, no hitch to lure you in. This is simply a game for the children of the kids from the trio-era. They go to school, have the occasional drama and stress about their grades (or not). Hogwarts hasn't changed much, only with minor additions to the security of the school. The greatest and the worst have walked these halls and learned from these teachers. Souri (which is the french word for 'smiled') is a welcoming community aiming to be void of cliques and the horrible OOC drama. We will have events and challenges to spice things up every other week and a gossip girl. Here your characters can fall in love, fall out of love, rekindle old friendships and sprout new ones. The possibilities are endless, so who will you be? |
 The project at Hogsmeade is finally completed and now there lies a shiny new apartment building on the edge of the village. Quickly occupied by twenty-somethings fresh out of Hogwarts and the occasional ratty old lady, it was named Mercury. Mercury marked the beginning of a new generation. One void of war and undeniable fear. These kids aren't worrying about the rise of the Dark Lord, they're worrying about finding jobs and getting their bills paid. | Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter. Born to Lily and James Potter, left a scarred orphan before his second birthday, and deemed The Chosen One after Voldemort's return. The boy who spent a year scouring the country for the remaining Horcruxes while war raged and countless died. But what if you could change history? Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before. To go back in time, hunt down the Horcruxes, and defeat Voldemort before the second war ever happens. To prevent the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands. To change the course of history.   The class of ’77 has moved into the flats that will be their homes for the next year. August brings the first day of these graduates’ internships.  These questions and more are reeling around the minds of these graduates as they await their first days of work. However, the most important question of all is absent:  The results of Lord Voldemort’s presence can be felt everywhere, from the mysterious seclusion of some classmates post-graduation, to the slew of fervent elopements that erupted in its wake. Outside the secure walls of Hogwarts, the disappearances of Daily Prophet reporters, inexplicable deaths of Ministry of Magic employees, and the growing St. Mungo’s psych ward are becoming a bit more real. The class of ’77 doesn’t live in a safe haven anymore. Meals aren’t served promptly, laundry isn’t folded and returned to wardrobes, and no one is checking to see if everyone gets home safely. This is the first time that most of these graduates will live on their own, and they couldn’t be more vulnerable. nightwalkers I want the rest of my band atleast, some ladies too would be great! It all began with the three Halliwell sisters. Six months after the death of their grandmother they found out that they were meant for more than the day to day jobs they had. They were witches, they were the Charmed ones. Foretold be their ansetor Melinda Warren before she was burned at the stake during the Salem witch trials. Together these three sisters would face the forces of evil. Though not all battles had happy endings. There power almost died with the loss of the eldest of the three, Prue. But still when one door closes another one opens. The two remaining sisters learned about another sister, Paige, who would complete the trinity once more. With her they would vanquish the Source (several times). And they would stand together to defeat the Ultimate Power and the Triad. After the fall of the Ultimate Power, the Charmed Ones were able to retire to live normal lives and look forward to being parents. Piper finally started the restaurant that she was dreaming of for all those years, Phoebe would continue working as a columnist and became an acclaimed novelist as well, and Paige joined the staff at magic school to teach the new generation of witches and whitelighters. It is now up to the next generation of magic to protect the world, and with the rise of a new Source and his government, it ought to get interesting.... It has been twenty some years since the Charmed ones were called to fight against the forces of evil. They have all been living life with their families. Almost normal, mortal lives until now. The year is 2028 and the call for the forces of good to join together has come. It is the next generations turn to fight the evil that surfaces from the underworld. There is a new Source who had been in power since the vanquish of the Triad. With his smooth words and rash actions he won the favor of the underworld and set into place the methods of the first Source. He had been laying in wait to reveal himself and now he thinks the time has finally come. Will the next generation be ready to face him? |
